In April, Sarah and I will embark on a grand journey. It will consist of roughly 6-8 countries in the span of 9 months. We are playing it by ear, hopping from country to country, soaking in the local cultures for weeks at a time. If we find a place we like, weeks could turn into months. I guess you can say this will be our honeymoon. 🙂

What’s really crazy about this is that we have found that it’s actually way cheaper to live this way than to live right here in Los Angeles. It’s not that hard to find accommodations in most places in the world, and oftentimes they can be as cheap as $11 a night. I think I’ve had drinks that cost way more than this!

We are embarking on this journey to do some soul-searching, but also to get some new perspectives around this great world of ours. I’ll be posting video throughout the journey, and my wife will be blogging on her site, Bijou & Wanderlust.

Can’t wait to begin this epic odyssey! Santa Monica, I’ll miss you, but I’ll be back.
