There are a few very important events coming up this year. In order to be in my best physical and mental shape for them, here’s what I’m doing:
Goals:
- Achieve 170 lbs with 12% body fat before summer 2017
- Be able to speak basic conversational Japanese by end of year
Actions:
- Gym 5-6x per week. Each visit is 2-4 hours.
- Anaerobic: 2x guided training per week
- Cardio: 50-70 miles low-mid intensity per week (I call this my “kamikaze” approach as this burns both muscle and fat, but it truly works in reduction of overall weight and mass)
- Vegetarian (vegan if possible) diet 6 days per week
- 1 cheat day omnivore (that’s the day anyone would want to hang out with me 🙂 )
- 2-3 liters of water per day
- Study Japanese 1 hr per day
This is what I am truly motivated to pursue this year in terms of personal improvement. This year’s gonna be big!
