Current hustle – May 2017

There are a few very important events coming up this year. In order to be in my best physical and mental shape for them, here’s what I’m doing: 

Goals: 

  1. Achieve 170 lbs with 12% body fat before summer 2017
  2. Be able to speak basic conversational Japanese by end of year

Actions:

  • Gym 5-6x per week. Each visit is 2-4 hours. 
  • Anaerobic: 2x guided training per week 
  • Cardio: 50-70 miles low-mid intensity per week (I call this my “kamikaze” approach as this burns both muscle and fat, but it truly works in reduction of overall weight and mass) 
  • Vegetarian (vegan if possible) diet 6 days per week 
  • 1 cheat day omnivore (that’s the day anyone would want to hang out with me 🙂 ) 
  • 2-3 liters of water per day 
  • Study Japanese 1 hr per day

This is what I am truly motivated to pursue this year in terms of personal improvement. This year’s gonna be big!
