It’s shaping up to be an exciting second half of 2016! I’ll be making up for some long overdue travel. Some people don’t post these kinds of things due to privacy reasons, but I honestly don’t care. (There’s nothing in my humble apartment that is worth stealing, lol)

• 7.22 – 7.24: Sarah’s annual tradition with her 2 other college musketeers (dubbed the “bad kids weekend”) that has turned into a tamed 3 couples hanging out at an awesome Hollywood hilltop property. It will be a tour and taste of LA for our friends from out of town.
• 8.1 – 8.5: Yosemite with my family! First time ever camping, and will revisit Yosemite after that one time we went in 1986 and drove 6 hours to stay for 2 hours and drive another 6 hours back home the same day. This time we will do it right! It’s also my dad’s 70th birthday on 8.2, and that’s a big deal where we come from.
• 8.20: Hollywood Bowl, Coldplay concert
• 9.16 – 9.25: Bora Bora, Tahiti. A retirement gift for my parents, who have always wanted to go but only saw it as a pipe dream. It’s honestly the least I can do for all the toil, blood, sweat, tears, and strife they had to go through to rear my sis and me, especially as Korean immigrants who barely spoke english. My sister and I will unveil this wonderful trip at Yosemite over BBQ. 🙂 I will document the reaction.
• 9.29 – 10.1: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This will be a bachelor party for one of our esteemed colleagues and business partners. I will only stay for 2 days due to the next event:
• 10.1: The wedding of Sam Kim and Kristel Kim. This guy is the next guy in our group to tie the knot (finally). I am the last man standing!
• 10.3 – 10.13: Seoul, Korea. My man Jiho and I will be going back to eat some good food in a hole in the wall, visit old friends and family, and get exfoliated in a jjimjilbang.
• Q3, TBD: A doggie trip to San Diego, possibly Coronado Island
• Q3-Q4, TBD: Europe with Sarah, possibly France & Spain, but evaluating options given the terror threats going on over there
