Wow, what a morning! Today was amazing. I got a chance to meet my childhood hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Growing up, I watched all his movies, followed him online, and even read his books. This morning, I was training at Gold’s Gym in Venice, and I decided to wear one of his campaign T-shirts. As my trainer and I were heading towards a machine, I heard “Hey! Come back!”
I turned and it was Arnold wearing the same T-shirt.
I went and shook his hand, and he asked me to take a picture with him. His media crew was with him, filming some sort of documentary. I ended up on his Instagram and subsequently on cloud nine.
It had always been a dream of mine to finally meet him and thank him in person for being an inspiration in my life. His struggle, hustle, drive, and discipline has been a paragon of excellence in what I strive for in my own life.
Thanks Arnold!
