I discovered just now that my contact lens shipment for the year was stolen from my mailbox. It was delivered Saturday afternoon at 3:40pm.

I remember that day I was going back to my girlfriend’s house after my morning workout, and the shipment had come that afternoon. All it took was a Saturday night and someone came in the middle of the night, took the largest box, and bounced.

I bet they were a bit surprised to open it and find that it was full of contact lenses for a very nearsighted person.

I hope they at least have the decency to return it if they weren’t going to use them. But these kind of people probably value their own safety of going back to the scene of the crime, so they’re probably in a trash can somewhere.

Gotta love humanity.
